Audrey Gale Park Memorial Plaque (1989)

This plaque recognising the contribution of Audrey Gale to New Plymouth was unveiled in March 1989.

Chairman of Parks & Recreation Committee

From 1965 to 1977

Previously known as the Old Waterworks

Reserve, this park was the site of the

town water supply from 1883 to 1906.
