The "Burnside Factory" on Kelly Rd, Lepperton, was built alongside the Mangaonaia Stream in 1898 by Donald Munro to produce condensed-milk but it apparently only survived for a few years.
The remains on the site consist of an elevated water tank and the concrete base of the factory itself.
