Poharama Te Whiti's grave is located on the edge of Ōtaka/Pioneer Park on Hakirau Street in Moturoa. It can be found on the far right, near the fence that separates the park from the coolstores.
Text on Plaque reads:
IN HONOURED MEMORY

TO THE PIONEERS
DIED 1878
His death was reported in the Taranaki Herald on 20 October 1875. Note that this date is correct, not the one on the plaque.
