This home was originally constructed in the art-deco style in 1939, and was extensively renovated, including the addition of an extra floor, about 1990.
A permit was granted to Thomas A. Thomson by the Borough Council on 20 March 1939 for the construction of house on Part Town Section 1957, DP4768, Buller Street - F. L. Fletcher was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £1000.
