11 Young Street/1 Short Lane

This house was located at 11 Young Street (Town Section 614). It was either moved off the site or demolished in the late 1980s and replaced with a commercial building known as, "Dean House".      

In 1915 ownership of Town Section 614 passed from Sykes to J.W. (Jacob Wincent) Kurta and a property title was issued under the Land Transfer Act.   

Jacob Kurta lived here until his death in 1965.
