A permit for the construction of a residence on Sections 5 and 6 (Block III), Dartmoor Avenue, was granted by the Borough Council on 3 August 1920 - the owner and builder was listed as John Christoffel, and the estimated construction cost was £1000.
John relocated to neighbouring 18 Dartmoor Ave following its construction in 1936.
