The permit that probably relates to the construction of 165 Powderham Street was granted by the Borough Council to Mrs E. Gribbon on 24 August 1935 for the construction of a house on Part Town Section 297, Powderham Street – R. Hoyle was the builder, H. M. Cole the plumber, and the estimated construction cost was £670.
