This villa was constructed for Mr Addenbrooke in 1910 - the architect was likely Frank Messenger, who advertised for tenders for the construction of a residence for Mr Addenbrooke in June 1910.
Wises Street Directories list a W. Addenbrooke as the occupier up until 1918, after which, Robert Addenbrooke is listed as the occupier.
The home was advertised for sale in August 1919 and was described as comprising "...5 rooms (large), bathroom, scullery, pantry, wash-house, etc., is new, particularly well built, has jarra beams and a tiled roof".
