This home in the English Cottage Style was constructed in 1925 for H. J. Grayson, with the architects being well-known New Plymouth firm Messenger, Griffiths and Taylor. 

The exterior of this home is clad in plain weatherboard with divided windows, and is in near original condition, except for the addition of a porch/sunroom at the front.
