A permit was granted by the Borough Council to H. Peterson on 2 May 1929 for the construction of a house on Section C, Gaine Street – Rankin was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £500.
On the evening of Monday 20 August 2018, a tornado damaged the roof the bungalow, with several sheets of corrugated steel torn off.
