A permit was granted by the Borough Council to C. W. Matthews on 17 March 1936 for the construction of a residence on Town Section 314, Corner Morley and Vivian Streets, - R. Hoyle was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £800.
An earlier permit was granted by the Borough Council to Miss Tyrwell on 11 November 1924 for the construction of a house on Town Section 314, Corner Morley and Vivian Streets – Frank Newell was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £635; this house was probably not constructed.
