A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Mrs Banks on 6 April 1925 for the construction of a house on an unknown section, Barrett Street – Jones and Sandford were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £920.

Land Deed Records confirm that William Banks, a motor mechanic, purchased the eastern portion of Town Section 516 in November 1922.
