This villa was probably constructed by J. Henderson in 1902.
Henderson purchased Town Section 47 in early August 1902, deposited plans for a "Cottage" on the section in late August (estimated value £300) and then sold the section - presumably with recently completed house - in late September 1902.
Town Section 47 was subdivided in 1914, and 85 Hine Street is located on the eastern part of section.
