A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Arthur Herbert Bone on 1 December 1921 for the construction of a house on Town Section 785 (should be Section 786), Bulteel Street - Parker & McIsaac were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £800.
Arthur Herbert Bone (1889-1964) served with the New Zealand Rifle Brigade in the First World War and married Olive Hurrell (1887-1974) in 1919.
