This early bungalow was constructed in 1917-18 for Henry Kenny.

A permit was granted by the Borough Council to H. Kenny on 8 November 1917 for the construction of a residence on Pt 4 Shaws Estate, South Road (now St Aubyn Street) - the estimated construction cost was £780.

Kenny only lived in the home for a short time before it was sold to David Jones in 1921.
