This villa residence was likely constructed by/for Tom Parkin during the early 1900s. The house was sold to Mrs Fanny Isabella Hall around 1910, and she resided in the house until about 1924.

Mrs Hall first appears as the ratepayer for allotments 1 of H of Sections 95/96 during the 1911-12 rating year - at this time the property had a rateable value of £468.
