A permit was granted by the New Plymouth Borough Council to builder Jessie Simmons on 6 October 1932 for the construction of a residence on Town Section 1065, Victoria Road - Simmons was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £950.
The property has featured in the Taranaki Fringe Garden Festival.
