A permit was granted to Miss Drew on 30 November 1921 for the construction of a residence on Town Section 1049 Liardet Street, 'Trevorrow' was listed as the builder and the estimated construction cost was £1000.
A copy of the original plans is held by NPDC, these are dated November 1921 and signed by New Plymouth architect William Newton Stephenson - they note the client as Miss G. Drew.
Street directories note Mrs Annie Drew as the occupier from soon after construction.
On 9 June 1985 the New Plymouth Family and Marriage Guidance Service officially moved into their new premises at 109 Liardet Street.
