A permit was granted by the Borough Council to J. O. Bennett on 20 December 1934 for the construction of a house on Lot 13 Part Town Section 1944, Avenue Road (now Coronation Avenue) – Henry Brown and Co were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £800.
