This roughcast bungalow was constructed by Charlie Roebuck in 1916.

In July 1916, a permit for the construction of a residence for C. E. Roebuck on Town Section 2086, Watson Street, was granted by the Borough Council - Roebuck was listed as the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £600.

Roebuck was a drainlayer, plasterer and bricklayer - his skill and attention to detail can be seen throughout this home, especially in the arched brick door and window frames in the entrance porch, and in the ornate interior plastered ceilings.

The home has been restored to a high standard, with many original features retained.

Charlie subsequently sold this home and constructed a new home at 426 Devon Street East.
