A permit was granted by the Borough Council to Charlie Edward Roebuck on 13 November 1922 for the construction of a house on Pt H, Devon Street – Roebuck was the builder, and the estimated construction cost was £1000.
Charlie had recently moved from 21 Watson Street, a home which he constructed in 1916.
