A permit for a cottage on Town Section 196k, Young Street, was granted to Mr A. George on 27 November 1905 - George was listed as the architect/builder, and the estimated construction cost was £250.
DP 2402, surveyed at the end of 1906, shows the outline of the cottage at 97 Young Street, and also confirms that the owner of this part of the section was Mr Alfred George.
