Gordan Keith Froggatt was born on 29 October 1913, the son of William (1869-1946) and Eliza (nee Goldsworthy) (1886-1954) of New Plymouth.
He married Estelle June Procter (June) in 1942 and by 1943 they had a daughter Carol Ann. Before the war Gordon worked as a carpenter.
He enlisted in 1941 as a Driver with the Tank Transporter Company, 2nd New Zealand Division. He returned home from the war in December 1945.
Gordan died on 26 June 1997 in New Plymouth.
