A permit was granted by the Borough Council to H. R. Garnham on 27 March 1925 for the construction of a residence on Town Section 1052, Gilbert Street - McIntosh & Haylock were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £725.
An earlier permit for a residence on Town Section 1052, for W. Roberts, granted by the Borough Council in August 1916, appears not to have been constructed.
