Eric Bruce Jordan was born on 23 May 1922 in New Plymouth. His parents were Harold George Henman and Eva Florence Rudings.
During Word War Two he enlisted as a clerk and served with the New Zealand Artillery.
After the war he married Ivy Myrtle Paris (1927-2001) and lived in Lower Hutt and later in Manawatu. He died in Palmerston North on 18 June 2001.
